Dirty Little Secret

I think everyone is entitled to their secrets and thats why I value privacy. It should be up to a person whether they want the world to know their business and when they want to reveal it. Of course, there are limits. I don't believe its right for governments to torture people so I appreciate wiki-leaks revealing the evil-doers. As long as the person isn't hurting anyone then they are entitled to their privacy. Fair?

Me? I'm pretty straightforward. A few things I don't mind sharing that you may not know:

  • I enjoy dirty jokes, sexual innuendos and sexual frustration in literature/film. Sometimes a level of sensuality creeps into my writing because I love the challenge writing erotically, yet refraining from vulgarity, presents.
  • I admire vegetarians/vegans. BUT I also like eating meat every now and again. I used to feel guilty but I've realized that eating meat isn't a horrible sin or crime against the Earth. What is the crime is the agriculture and meat industry's disregard for animal welfare or environmental health.
  • I was very self-conscious, timid and quiet as a child. As the days pass I'm feeling more confident and trying new things and worrying less what people think. It feels great.
  • I am very emotional. I am very receptive to others' emotions. If I read a book, watch a movie or just listen to someone their emotions pour into me and reverberate in my heart. I can't watch a single war documentary and not get teary-eyed.
  • I am NOT desensitized. When I watch movies I react to them. If theres a gun fight I try to dodge the violence in my seat. I hate war movies because I can't stand the killing and the dying and the massacres... Be privy to this next time you ask me to go to the theater with you.
  • I'm a complete bookworm. So much so that I look at book porn (pictures of books, libraries, book shelves, etc). I LOVE books and reading. Its my favorite thing to do in the world. And I'm a little dragon when it comes to books, I love hoarding them.
  • Love is my religion. As Ziggy Marley said. I was born Catholic... I have a firm belief in God. Now? I don't know... I'm searching for truth, for the right path... I don't know if Catholicism is the path for me. I do believe that in the core of each religion being a good person, doing good deeds and respecting others is the most important thing. The rest I'm still figuring it out. I don't want to say anymore because there is just so much more thinking and reading I have to do on it. I can say that I feel I'm heading in the right way, questioning and searching, so its all good.
  • I'm in love. My heart is blossoming with love and thats all you need to know for now.
With that, I'll let Ziggy Marley end my post. Good night, www.
